I think one Laney Funderbirk also was a Monks contributor. He was head of Duke Alumni Association for many years. On Wednesday I mailed my change of voter registration from Republican to "Unaffiliated." That day I heard Monks speak at a luncheon, where he said, essentially, if you don't like what I did, come to the convention in April and vote me out.
