Cartoon

A good cartoon from today's Charlotte Observer.

  1. Don't forget, K.C., Karla Holloway wrote that "white innocence means black guilt." Thus, in the mind of one of the "celebrated" members of the Duke faculty, the three still are guilty.

  2. Baloney. If anything Holaway was so on target somebody should give her the award for best prediction of the garbage that would preoccupy this blog. Here's the full quote people. You haters point out where she was wrong if you can (that is, those of you who don't wander around trying to take things out of context to make your points):

"In nearly every social context that emerged following the team's crude conduct innocence and guilt have been assessed through a metric of race and gender. White innocence means black guilt. Men's innocence means women's guilt. These capacisou categories which were in absolute play during the night of the team's drunken debacle, CONTINUE THEIR HOLD ON THE CAMPUS AND THE DURHAM COMMUNITY."

so...those of you who can read know nearly every point on this blog continues to prove her right.

If you don't like this, stop making these associations between race and a person's likely beliefs. But frankly, it is way too late for that now.

  3. I can' wait for the charges of racism and anti-semitism to surface with respect to that cartoon.

After all, it seems like a stereotypical Jewish face the the cartoonist has used.

Anything to divert attention away from the missteps of the PC crowd and direct it back to the most important agenda.

Actually,in this case, Karla Holloway is right,"white male innocence means black female guilt!"

3 innocent white male lax players=1 guilty lying black female accuser.

Wow, Anon. You nailed that one:

Because they were white jocks they must have raped her

    Or was it:

Because they were drinking alcohol their normal black-women-raping intentions just naturally surfaced and they went out and grabbed two black women so they could degrade them.

I think you have clearly identified the stereotypes being applied from the beginning.

  6. What a dumb statement anyway, "white innocence means black guilt." That's like "tails I win, heads you lose." It goes without saying that if there are two sides (one black and one white)and white wins, of course black will lose. duh!

    Words of wisdom: Sometimes...
    black innocence means black guilt
    black innocence means white guilt
    black guilt means white innocence
    black guilt means black innocence
    black liar means white innocence
    white innocence means black liar
    black liar means white innocence
    white innocence means black liar

  7. My Gosh-
Karla Holloway was right! The white men in this case are innocent and the black woman in this case is guilty!

  8. Sorry, Bill, just read your comment. Obviously, I agree!

  9. cartoon was PC

cartoonist knows that a stupid black professor coined the phrase, yet it's Nifong in the cartoon

  10. I didn't know Nifong was Jewish.

  11. He's not - the name is German, Swedish - something like that. Are we going to get an Elders of Zion essai?

  12. Where's the mole on the forehead? It's like a piece of spinach in someone's teeth: you can't stop your eyes from going to it....gross.

  13. Mole? I thought it was the Eye of Cyclops.

  14. I like the post about Holloway being "so on target." She was claiming that the three were rapists, and even if they were proved innocent, they still were rapists.

If anyone insisted on defining the entire incident through the "matrix" of race, it was Holloway and her friends.

  15. Oh, I guess just the artist thinks he is Jewish - you know - the nose, the horns. By the way, I am Jewish but don't happen to have large nose. Horns, though, just won't go away.

  17. TO 3:08PM--

    Nifong certainly isn't Jewish!

The cartoonist was merely caricaturing the reality of the creep.

Nifong has a hawk-like nose with a wart on his forehead.

Also.....very crooked and bad teeth.....with slits for lips.

Why don't people in the public arena do more about their appearance?

    It's an endless mystery.

We have heard this before starting back in the late 1960's but not from university based professors who seeks to poison their students.

Nesting at universities is a fairly new phenomenon for the far left.

Most of the old time radicals created their own organizations to provide financial support in collaboration with churches. Also, there were no Lie Stoppers, FODU or Durham in Wonderland back in those days. Not even the pre-electronic versions.

If the Anger Professors wish support, they should form their own organizations and pass the hat.

They will have a hard time with churches this time, however. Small churches caught on to their game many years ago and see the far left as money sucking monsters.

Still other churches now days have become megachurches with their own agenda of somehow paying the mortgage, TV time and light bill.

What to do with the far left as they CONTINUE THEIR HOLD ON THE CAMPUS AND THE DURHAM COMMUNITY?

    Suggestions?

They sure enjoy suckling off the Duke endowment!

  19. Carolyn says:

Anonymous at 1:15: Honey, don't make a fool of yourself - that's OUR job.

In that spirit, I therefore point out that you not only did not give the right defense of "Holaway", you didn't even give the right spelling. Ironically, though, you did give the right assessment. From the beginning, Holloway HAS judged this case solely on the basis of race and gender.

Which is why she (and you) can not stand us. We judged it on the basis of truth.

  21. Jewish? Horns? Hawk-like nose? Wha???

Guys, the cartoon is showing Nifong as the Duke Blue Devil, i.e., the mascot of the school. Hasn't anyone seen it before? Do a GIS for "Duke Blue Devil."

    ReplyDelete
  22. As the cartoon suggests, if Nifong really truly believed Crystal was raped that night, and the 3 Duke Lax players are innocent, then who and where are the rapists?

  23. Look's like a C on side of devil mask. To bad it wasn't done in that faded blue color to show the poultry excretion looks he now exhibits.

  24. Ha, this is how you know the defenders of the hoax have no argument left...their blogs have started to run dry so they come over here. Good luck with that!
