In this clip, Nifong admitted to Doug Brocker that he did not read defense discovery requests in the case, including a critical June request from Joe Cheshire.

  1. SO, which of the 20 or so ADAs did read the discovery motions? And they did what with that information?

  2. By the way. I just looked at the homepage of the Durham District Attorney....guess whose picture is still there?

  3. Unbelievable. He doesn't bother to read discovery requests because he provides everything, but he also says that he did not provide key DNA evidence because it was supposedly non-probative. You can't have it both ways, Mike.

  4. What a pompous, self-righteous, arrogant ass Nifong proved himself to be.

Bet he reads the papers served on him as he becomes the target of legal action ...

  7. As it relates to the actual mechanics of running the Hoax case, do we know whether the Fongster did *anything* but give slanderous and unethical press conferences and obstruct justice?

  8. "I had complied with that request before I had received it".

    LIES MIKEY!

How could you KNOW TO HAVE COMPLIED if you did not read it?

  9. I have been watching the clips as they have been posted by KC. Taken together they are more sinister than they would be as isolated events. One could plausibly believe ONE or TWO of the excuses. However, taken together, I can could is that he is a cynical liar and sociopath who got caught. I would bet he pulled this trick all along. His method appears to be "open file" but with critical items left out of the file.

  10. Bad typing sorry ......I have been watching the clips as they have been posted by KC. Taken together they are more sinister than they would be as isolated events. 11. Think about what Nifong defense was in this extremely visible case:

He does not read evidence reports

    He does not read motions

He does not read letters from defense lawyers.

    He does not review evidence.

    Just business as usual?

  12. Memo to Mikey,

Reading is fundamental - especially for DA's that are doing their jobs.

  13. Mikey was just keeping an open mind. So open that the facts fell out of it.

A liberal for all times. Don't confuse 'em with facts.

  14. It was all a ruse for future defense of insanity. He's just not remembering on purpose, making them continue to work for all the evidence to prove their positions.
He doesn't care about anything but obfuscation for his own protection.

  15. English Majors have an axiom
    (to grind?) that applies to
    NoFang:

"If you can't blind 'em with brilliance,
    baffle 'em with bullshit."

    That's apparently the Motto
    of the 88, as well.
